More on the subject of the slow death of lateral thinking... My teenage son and his friends cannot function without their mobile phones. Say for example that they're going to meet somewhere in town. From the time they set out to the time they eventually meet up, at least half a dozen phone calls will be made - often many more - along the lines of: "What was the name of the place we were meeting?" - "What time are you going to get there" - "I'm standing under a big sign" "I'm here but I don't see you anywhere", etc...

When I try and tell him that when I was his age we did not have mobile phones and we simply arranged to meet at a specific place at a specific time, he just stares at me in disbelief.

Wicked posting - on ya!

"Don't make me think", that's all I think of when I design anything
